An implant is a specialized titanium screw that is surgically placed in the bone, and is permanent. The implant is then used to hold a crown, bridge or denture in the mouth. Implants really are the best way to replace a missing tooth, or even several teeth. They can even be placed under your old denture or partial to hold them firmly in place to help them work like real teeth. Taking the step to finally get dental implants can be intimidating. We will take the time to fully analyze your case and explain the process. A consultation is a free!
Single tooth implants look great, feel great and are easy to take care of. Unlike a bridge or partial, an implant can replace a tooth without involving the teeth next to it. The difference with dentures is amazing, they work just like natural teeth. Implants are making things possible in dentistry that we couldn’t even imagine before.
Implants can last for decades with proper care. Studies have shown them lasting 20-30 years and longer.
